[IMG] I guess I will fade away too ....

    Oh well.

I've been questioning the time I spend on this site - as well as a few others. I'm a couple months away from gaining a M.S., and it might be wise to put my efforts into other areas.

I just had to read a few more posts in the Alley of Dangerous Angles to make up my mind. I've posted all I need to say on the other thread.

Tal, this is a great site and I wish you well.

However, you didn't read my complete post on the "other" thread before you responded. I was not attacking the German or French people. I actually enumerated the importance of distinguishing between a government and the people it serves....

There are other places on the Net I assume - ones where discussions will be based on logic, not emotion. (Groan). I guess that was my final jab.

    Farewell.

LOL Couldn't resist getting one last jab in since the other thread was closed? :shake:

Somehow I doubt you'll be leaving.... but if you do, good luck in everything. Bye bye.

Judging by all these "goodbye" threads you'd think we've started a new fashion trend here. Be hip - start your own goodbye thread!™

Just four, excluding Arabwels (who got this rather nasty problem of hers ;) ). Now that we have *four* free places for regulars, guess some of those lurkers might dare to come to occupy them. :spin:

Hey, I didn't really leave...mine was a fake "goodbye". Anyone else who starts a phoney "farewell thread"...owes me royalties.

Besides, after I found out that I was really the father of Death Rabbits baby, I had to stick around.

I think it's a natural inclination for people who are hurt or disillusioned to want others to know, but if you are really upset, you just leave without a word. (of course, no one ever notices ;) )

I think that anyone that uses "fade" in a manner that is not my name, owes me royalties.

*does a dance in the $.50*

Seriously though, why is everyone leaving, maybe you all should just stay out of the AoDA like I do, or just pop in everyonce in awhile to make fun of them, again, like I do. Ah hell with it, just be like me.

    [IMG] @ Sorvo

LOL  I never made that connection until you mentioned it.

Anyway, I reread some of my older posts and realize that I was a negative contributing factor on AoDA. (Sigh) I guess I have no right to lecture.

    I'm sorry.

I guess its probably for the best - for myself and Sorcerers Place - that I leave.

This is my final sentence on my final post.

Blackhawk - Personally, I am disappointed that you are leaving, since I have always found your thoughts interesting. Although I sometimes don't agree with your comments, I think that your perspective is actually very moderate, except on the issue of the "war on terror." Some of your latest posts have created some controversy, which in my opinion is a good thing, since it makes for interesting debate.

Sorry to see you go. Good luck on your Masters and whatever else you decide to do in life.

Well, this seems like a pretty pointless leaving to me. Why not just be more positive? Or why even care about being negative. Maybe negativity is not a bad thing - it may make people think.

Well, you just could stay. I mean focussing on your diploma is a valid reason, but the other thing is not. And if your away, who am I going to respond to ? Huh ?
