I have a big problem. Since this thursday, I cannot access my hotmail account. I cannot go on msn anymore and trying to log in via netpassword also doesn't work. I suspect someone I know might have hacked my account so I cant log in anymore. Is that really possible? He said he was gonna hack my account for fun sometime, I thought he was joking! Now he is a real computer genius, he is 17 and he knows every shortkey, DOS command, he's an expert on making sites and stuff and he even knows wich parts of his computer to replace, adjust or remove to improve performance. He has created a super-computer this way. Someone plz help me! I'm getting desperate!

I'm not entirely sure about this but i seriously doubt he "hacked" into your account... He probably just got hold of your password and changed it to a new one or something.

I would contact this guy. If he's a friend, tell him "ha ha, you're a maniacle genius, I bow to your tech supremacy, you have a large penis." Sounds like he's doing this to show off, so stroke his ego a bit and ask nicely and he should reverse it. Unless of course if he's a little prick, in which case, contact his parents and get the little bastard grounded. :D

If he's not a friend, consider contacting the FBI. They tend to frown on this sort of thing. You could always bluff with "I've contacted the FBI about this and they've asked for your name. Please undo what you've done or I may have to give it to them." You could also try contacting a webmaster at hotmail. They deal with stuff like this all the time. It could result in him (or at least the computer he's on) getting banned for life from accessing hotmail. Of course, if he's the evil computer genius you say he is, this won't be much of a threat and may serve to piss him off further.

Sorry if the second paragraph wasn't terribly helpful. :( Honestly, contact a hotmail webmaster. And maybe just be more careful with your password from now on, I guess.

The same happened to me once, that is why I no longer use Hotmail -too unreliable (and slow ). Solution? Change account, contact MS technical support (small hope that they will answer) and pray for a miracle.

Hehe, finding problems is the first trait of an IT-professional. ;)

Thanks a lot guys! Maybe he found out my password and blocked my account. Anyway, I'm gonna contact a webmaster and pray it'll work.

About the telling his parents thing: I heavely doubt that will work. Not only he doesnt listen to his partents, he's also not really a 'little' bastard: He is an almost 2 metres high seventeen-year old with long hair, metal fan, and he does like 5 sports and trains 3 hours in the gym everyday, resulting in huge muscles... Seriously, if I tell his parents he will just ingnore them and beat the crap outta me...

I am almost certain he did it but I'm afraid I don't have the guts to tell him to change it. If I ask him nicely he'll just laugh, and otherwise I end up in the hospital...

    *sigh*

You don't have to be the best hacker in the world to make sure somebody can't use his Hotmail anymore. If you click 'I forgot my password', the only things you have to do is fill in the e-mail adress, the country and answer the 'secret' question, which most people are stupid enough to fill in something, anybody who knows him/her remotely can answer. Then you can change the password, so that the owner of the account can't access it. It is basically the most childish prank anybody can do.

Just tell 'Mr. Computer Genius' to get a life.

@Death Rabbit: I don't think the FBI will handle such a case. Seeing as they don't have any authority in BELGIUM! ;)

I think he probably read some article no one knows where and then decided to show off a bit.

It's easy to get your password if you don't notice someone looking on your fingers, he doesn't even have to see them touching keyboard if he has blind typing feat. I once got a major one that way, but that's a different story you don't want to hear.

If he had just learnt your password he could have done absolutely everything you could to to the account. If not... well, hotmail isn't renowned for stability or reliability - there are some tricks that even my female friends know :D

In fact the true source of the problem is his small penis.

    @ Faragon

 Ok, pretty much lookin like a big dumbass here. Didn't know he was from Belgium. I thought his 'French Fries' thing was a reference to the states. Plus, now I guess I'm realizing that hotmail is international as well.

Death rabbit, you're looking like a big dumbass now indeed. And what's this thing that everyone is blaming a small penis as the source of my problem???

Well, anyways, I have emailed MSN customer service about this, hope they'll reply. :)

    Hey, be nice man! ;)

The small penis reference basically means that this guy, like all bullies, is compensating for his own insecurities by picking on you and making you feel small in an attempt to make himself feel cool and important. The only thing preventing the same thing from happening to him is the fact that he's big and strong. He's a pathetic, insecure jerk, too stupid to use his talents for something other than teasing people. :D

    Good luck with tech support.

The problem is he isn't the classic bully: not only he's very strong, he's also very smart, and he IS cool and can be very sympathetic sometimes, but he has his lesser moments. And he's not pahtetic and insecure at all I'm afraid...

Oh my god! He's the perfect Bully! Haaaaaa!!!

    *Ancalìmon runs circles like crazy*

    :D ;) :)

Not scared to ask, but if I tell his parents he'll beat the crap outta me. Well, I'll just hope the client service will reply...
