lol!!! The sad part is, someone actually placed a bid on it. It's nice to see that you can also add $10 for insurance...just to make sure that the post man doesn't use it before it gets to you.

Also, I decided to take a look at the seller's other auctions....and I found this: "Used Comma" :jawdrop: :rolling:

someone put a bid on it ...

... and to think they're willing to add the cost of shipping it too ...

Once on Ebay (quite recently in fact), I saw something I have been looking for for years, and i placed my bid. However, within the last 10 seconds, someone outbid me. This would have been ok, had they done it sooner and given me the chance to outbid them, but the sneaky, nasty way that they did it made me very sad, and I have never bought anything on Ebay since.

Everyone does that on almost every auction. You have to get eBay to bid automatically on your behalf.

What's so sneaky and nasty about that? That's just smart bidding. What's the point of bidding early and pushing the price too high?

eBay rules. Except in New Zealand, where trademe.co.nz rules. Online auctions rule.

Yep, and it's a Polish sniping service that provides that opportunity for a lowest bid possible

Lol....just for kicks and giggles, I asked the seller of the used comma:
Q: Do you have one in blue?

    His response:
A: Yes, but it is 2 cents extra.

This just proves that this guy is a smart a$$! I like him already! :rolling:

Ridicilous; the shipping costs more than double -sorry, 200x the price. That's some robbery.

    lol!!!

But as for the "slightly used comma", it could be a scam - after all, how do we know it's not just an apostrophe turned upside-down? :xx:

Yes, these scams happen all too frequently! I was sold an 'M' that was clearly a 'W' when viewed up close! :wail:

24 is pretty low actually and the seller's previous sales appear to be somewhat more conventional in nature (the three sales in the last six months were a video game controller and two DVDs).

Also, how can you leave negative feedback about a used toothbrush when the seller is completely honest upfront in describing it?

That's beautiful. I'll see if I can persuade a friend in the UK to bid.
