I need some female names....for a cat.

    So My g/f and I got a cat today. She's a Russian Blue cat....which means she's a bluish-grey color, and my g/f said she wanted to give it a name from BG1 or BG2. So far we have:
    Aerie
    Alyra
    Elanda
    Ellesime
    Jaheria
    Jenna
    Safana
    Tanova
    Vesper

    So if you know any female names from BG1 or BG2 that you think would be good for a cat, let me know!

    (Also, names like Branwen, Nalia, and Viconia have been considered, but shot down already, so don't bother with any NPC names that are in the game's manual.) :rolling:

    By the way, it is very interesting that you have a girlfriend who likes Baldur's Gate enough to want to name a cat after it. Apart from our female posters here on SP, I have not encountered many girls who like these games. I suspect many of our girlfriends / wives would think we were nuts if we tried to name a pet after a computer game character.

    Well, we both went through the names together and then tried them out on her by calling her with each name and she responded to Aerie and Alyra. So we decided to name her Aerie...big surprise huh? :D

    I'll be taking some pictures of her and getting them on the SPPA soon.

    What about Biff?

    Nah, if I ever get a male cat, it WILL be named Kitrax...no doubt about it. :thumb: :rolling:

    Not counting the thief/stray cat, there were two plot related cats in BG1 -- Drienne had one (but I don't think the poor dead kitty had a name) and Petrine had her cat Angel (the one her dad wanted you to kill -- hey, SHE wanted the Angel Skin ring, and I just thought...).

    So the obvious recommendation is Angel.
