at the talking-painting choose 'Lysan' and the stair will lead you beyong the embrace shadow door. inside the room SHA send someone near shadow door to take damage so that you can open the 'embrace the shadow' door . Adjust the mirror far away near the entrance facing left. Adjust prism facing north and shoot it. The lightning will take a few bounces eventually ends up hitting shadow door thus open it. Send a high DEX to enter the room, the altar will talk to you, choose the answer with the name 'The Caged Fury'. if you don't have this option, send a high INT to talk with Xhaan and get him to mention 'Aiej-kllenzr't'. Xhaan is the Abishai who gave you this quest. The shadow door will close and the altar will attack you with 'Whirlwind' which your high DEX will have no problem evading. When the door opens, enemies will come from north and south of 'embrace shadow' door to attack you. When everything is done, report back to Xhaan for reward.

You know, I have had a problem with that darn prism device before. I did open the door that said "embraced the shadow" by being teleported to that room via the stairs with Kuldahar's painting, etc.

However, even though I had rotated the mirror in the north, and with that door open, the lightning bolt doesn't get reflected into that shadow area. It happened to me the two times that I have played that area so far. A little annoying, but well... I know this sounds stupid, but I just have to make a full rotation, and the thing will fire fine the next time.
