    I'm trying to create an item that can talk with the user. I have dialog set up, but i'm stumped. How do i make it so that i can converse with a sword?

    [​IMG] No idea, but perhaps BG2's Lilarcor sword files will help you out.
    For Icewind Dale, the closest item would be the Avarine Decanter (50GENAD.itm); it creates a djinn that force-talks to you when used, maybe you can do something similar with your item?

    A small favour, could you post a thread in the IWD2 forum about your mod, when it's completed? I'd hate to overlook a new finished IWD2 mod!:)
