    So has anyone played through this game with the Icewind Gate mod? I know it doesnt work with TOB, or so the site says...

    Anyoe know if tehres more work being done on it by someone else? Or is it dead in the water?

    If someone wanted to continue working on it, Id be more than happy to beta-test it. ^_^

    I'm currently working on a guide for it to try and show how to get a playable experience out of it. But that's a long way off yet. In the meanwhile, forget the beta-testing thing for now. Weimer has shelved it because he's doing his doctorate atm.

    No, the problem is that IWD2 can't do some of the things that BG2 can and this makes there be no way to really make the thing work perfectly.

    Thats unfortunate, because I really like the way the game looks and feels using the IWD2 GUI. With the original GUI its just too clunky and you cant do alot of stuff with the charas, like have them hold shields, or have extra weapons combo slots.

    Too bad there isnt a GUI mod for BG2 to make it look like IWD2 - just with the normal BG2 engine. :)
