Where's your favourite place to take a holiday or where would you most like to go if you had 2 weeks off (money not a problem)

Id love to go to New York personally, its one of the biggest city's in the world and having seen so much of it on tv id really like to experience what the place is like for myself.

I'd also love to go to Mexico (going in Jan/Feb! Back of the net!) and Australia. I think Prague would make a good weekend break aswell. In fact, if I was a millionaire or something, I'd just visit as much as the World as possible!

I'd love to tour South East asia. Not back packing, but touring. Places like Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam. Maybe go to South America too, at some point. Chile, and peru. Places like that.

Heh, maybe an SP tour. Go annoy as many SP members as pos.

It used to be on one of the Spanish costas, two weeks of getting drunk and chasing chicks, but i've put that behind me now. I don't know why, but i always wanted to explore Japan, and i'll defenitely go there when the time comes.

A place where I haven't been, for sure. Thinking South Africa, Japan... maybe Egypt.

It depends on the season. If it is autumn, the place will be Munich during the Oktoberfest, if it is winter, Scandinavia or the Alpes, if it is summer, one of the hundreds greek isles will be just fine.

I don't really have a favourite place that I would like to go to - I generally like to go someplace new every year.

I am not sure where I am going to go next year - I have a half dozen different choices that I am thinking about right now.

If I had to choose which place I have previously visited that I would most like to go to again I would probably say New Zealand. Great scenery, friendly people and the thrill of waking up each morning and trying to remember "What crazy, life endangering, recreational activity have I booked for today?" ;)

    1) Safari in Africa
    2) Scotland

These are the two trips I would love to make before I pass into the eternal whatever. If I had unlimited money I would love to tour the world and if I'm still around when space travel arrives the universe awaits.

Scotland's a nice place, I've been a few times. Keep way from the big cities though.

Hmm there's a difference between my favourite place to visit and the place I'd go if I had two weeks off because I like to go places that I have not been before.

My favourite place is the South Island of New Zealand because it is just so scenic and peaceful (except for the small corner of it which is inhabited by Deathmage), closely followed by the Tuscan region of Italy (such beautiful fresh food).

But if I had two weeks off now with no money worries, I'd quite like to visit China because I have never been there.

In a few years, when the kid is a bit older, I'd really like to go back to Disneyland because, for all its faults, that place still rocks.

I'd take a cruise of north-western Europe...England, Scottland, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Belgum...with a land tour at each of the ports of call. For some reason I really want to see that part of Europe...don't ask me why, I just do!

Sorry Spain, France, Itally, ect, you guys just don't cut it for me.

If you want a good place to go this up-comming winter, give Salt Lake City a try, there are countless ski resorts here...and while you're here, stop by and see me damnit! :rolling:

I think I'd go to New Zealand... or possibly to Japan.

Even if Mexico sounds like fun :p

Some tropical isle, preferrably in the Carribean. I'd have a small cottage, with brilliant flowers all around and a stone's throw to the beach. I'd sit on my porch in the night's gentle breeze, watching the winking lights of the small boats gliding up and down the bay....and dream. *Sigh* :D

I would like to go to the Carribean too, but not this year. The beaches are probably still littered with dibree, and the towns are still a disaster area.

Japan would be cool too, I'd have to bring several thousand dollars to afford a custom made, hand forged: Katana, Wakishansi(sp), and Tanto...which is just one of the many reasons to go to Japan. :rolling:

    @Arabwel

If you ever do go to mexico stay away from any town within 75 miles(121 kilometers) of the US border. All the towns and villiages have managed to turn into a complete slums area. I have no idea why but it's best to stay in the southern part of mexico. Besides the scenery is better :D

Hmmm When I had 'nuff money I'd definitely go to Athens, Greece... See all the pretty places, get drunk, the stuff  . Also I'd like to see Japan and/or other Asian countries but that lower on my priority list.

Alternatively, I'd buy my family a kick-ass grand holiday to somewhere far, far away and have the home to myself for two weeks.

Call over all my friends, celebrate Massive LANnification, all that jazz. Now *that* would *ROCK* (esp. since I already live in Holland see Amsterdam wouldn't have the added value it has for some

And yeah in Japan picking up the sweetest pieces of sharp pointy shinies would be obligatory (I believe it's Wakizashi but don't shoot me if it's wrong)

AND I'd like to see Ireland (the south end, where there's less explosions and all that)

    :borg:
