[IMG] This should be posted in the forum of the game you're trying to make items for... Do tell us which game so we can move the topic.

An item, spell, script, trigger or anything that uses ToB effects (all effects above 128 decimal) can't possibly be compatible with SoA. Effects are hard-coded and can't be added to SoA by simple editing override files.

Also, you can't know if the graphics, graphics effects and sound you would use is compatible with SoA. And you wouldn't press SoA players to download those huge files, would you?

Not to say that the same effect in SoA works differently in ToB and vice versa (for example, sexchange in SoA is not cumulative, but in ToB is).

So, you definetly can make an item compatible with both. But you have to test it with ToB installed and without ToB installed. Agreed?

Anyway, I think this should go to ToB forum.

And don't ask me for any item editors. I use hex editor only. I despise any uncontrollable util that demands existence of files I don't need anywhere else. Yes, I talk about lame Visual Basic ActiveX.

    DeBhaal Station:
What i think you mean is when loading items from IEEP, it only displays a few items in the Ovveride folder???

In this case, download the WinBiff tool from hppt://www.teambg.com and use it to open the Chitin in your BG2 folder.

Extract all the Itm files into your override, and viola, you can load them!!

    Is that what you wanted>?

    [Edit, sorry thats http://www.teambg.com ]
