Ya, cool; but was it really worth it? To me it seems like money thrown to well, especially since most of the nowday's games/apps can't really fully utilize it and after 5-8 years there will be cheaper and better solution anyway. :hmm:

Pretty cool, but I agree with Virne. I never buy the latest processor, video card, etc. Instead, I buy 2-3 levels below the most current version when the price has come down substantially. Since I usually buy games 1-2 years after they come out, the lower horsepower isn’t really an issue.

I'd love to have one of those, but I'd settle for one of the monitors. That would be awesome even on my old PC.

Congrats. However, I agree that there will be a better and cheaper solution by the time software makes use of that awesome power.

For those reasons I stick with my old Cel800/384MB RAM/60GB HDD/RIVA TNT2/SB Live. I would have to change practically everything, so I may as well buy a new computer. And then after two years it'll be average or below. And I don't play games like I used to. Just BG2, IWD2 and WC2 - only WC2 really, lately. Perhaps WC3 soon, with the addon, but it disappoints me gravely.

@chevalier, you're not reading the post, man.

i apologize to most of you for having misled you to believe that i actually bought that. i just posted it that way because i expected you to see that it is quite senseless to be wasting your hard earned money on something you can actually consider a "white elephant". if you only knew what it's equivalent price is in Philippine peso, you would know i'm just dreaming. again my apology.
