    in chapter 4, when bohdi tells you to run throuh her maze, you can finally have imoen join your group...but i dont really want her. but now I know she is a child of bhaal, so will i need her for anything? Is there any reason for me to put her in the group if I already have a better thief?

    No, you don't need her. In fact, you don't need a thief period (unless of course you need the xp for removing traps and picking locks).

    I never took Imoen and it wasn't because I already had a "better" thief in my game, in fact I never had a thief in my game. I didn't take Imoen because she didn't fit into my party and story.

    Yes, she's a child of Bhaal, but big deal. She isn't important to the story, you are.

    I rescued her, I know for a fact because we talked after Bohdi was done speaking. She said she'd wait for me in the Copper Coronet. Too hyped!

    Well I didn't enlist the help of Bhodi , and have'nt got that far yet, so I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens.

    Don't you find it annoying though , you try and play the game with a party and build up all there strengths , to change them for others and have to start all over again.

    [​IMG] Gee Syl, after Grub lived with her for 20 years and only now finding out she's his sister, I would have thought that he would have at least let her hang around for a while and show Aerie what casting is about. Or he would have at least killed her to get one step closer to that god-like state that Sarevok was going after.

    ARG! Grub never lived with her, Lance did, my character from BG1.

    Now if I had continued with that character from BG1, taking Imoen would have reason but I did not.

    Grub is a child of Bhaal, that's it. He did not play BG1, thus he did not live in Candlekeep. I played it that this girl came along, spitting, ranting and raving about how she knew me, how we lived together but not once did I see her in my Half-Orc village. Blood and ashes, she has something wrong with her in that head of hers.

    She saved Grub and Grub returned the favour. Nothing more, nothing less. With that debt payed, Imoen is free to do as she wishes.

    [​IMG] True enough, I guess. The only half-orc in BG1, that I know of, was the cleric Mulahey, so I guess maybe Grub never knew her before. One thing though I finished BG1 before and around chapter 2 of it Imoen was blasted into little bits by a lightning bolt. I imported my final save into BG2 and here she comes rescuing me. Maybe this Imoen is just a pink-haired imposter, wasn't Imoen a brunette in BG1?
