You can import a BG1 character to BG2 back does it work back? I think not because you have those high level abilities, unknown in BG1 weapon profs. and spell (if you play with a spellcaster)
    But you can try

    It won't work.

What you can do is install BG tutu and some mods (XP cap remover for example) then it will work, though you might get bored.

I'm not sure if BG1Tutu takes care of this, but I kind of doubt some of the ToB items would make it through the transition. And if they didn't, that could cause some serious problems.

Something you could do is create a character in Baldur's Gate, get the XP cap disabler (3rd from the top in the link below) and lvl 50 rules (6th from the top) and CLUA your experience up to the level you want. I doubt that would be as fun, though.

@Felinoid: No it works fine with BG Tutu, items and everything, I did it (by mistake I imported one of the default characters when starting a new game in Candlekeep -felt weird though).

I got problems with Bag Of Holding, to the point of game crash(Even with Bags Of Holding from tutu tweaks installed). Other than that, it works fine.
