Dang it, if there is one thing i hate about the Infinite Engine games is the lack of portraits. And i must have *perfect* characters. For example, there is no single druid portrait and it drives me insane.

So, is it wise to import NWN or BG portraits in to IWD? Considering that during the game the portraits are zoomed in to the head.

IWD2 portrait sizes are vastly different from the other IWD & BG games. I do not know how they compare to NWN. But when all is said and done, you don't really have to worry about it since there are IWD2 portraits available for download right here, including resized BG2 portraits.

The nwn portraits are big enough to zoom in to the head, the pack that i was previously using just resized the whole picture though, so the small display on your right in-game bar is not really too great.

but with the quality of the pictures, it's perfectly possible to make a small picture by cutting out the head section of that picture, resizing it and saving it as the small version.
i reccomend you use irfanview for it, works a charm.

Defenders of the Dale is my old IWD2 portrait site. It's still up and has LOTS of IWD2 sized portraits. And there are a few druid pics to be had.
