[IMG] I was just wondering..have U tried the tougher versions of the main bosses in the game? I'm talking about those patches/fixes that are downloadable here at the site. Well, I gave them a try, and I must say, they kick ass!!!
    Sp.:

The expansion is now much more challenging. The new scripts and abilities of the bosses are amazing. For example the crappy fight against Illasera is now truly difficult, and almost impossible if U start a new(and so single) character.
And the battle with Balthazar(which was pathetic as well before this improvement) is now such a pain! Love that one:)

    Any comments on this one?

[IMG] I think they're damn cool, thouhg I didn't have any problems with the Balthazar one, only Abazigal was a real pain in the arse.

But they rock totally in my opinion! :)

Balthazar and Illasera fall almost the first round to a well-played, well-balanced party. I was very disappointed in both of them. /me shrugs. Guess I should try the improved versions.

U really should! There will be a massive change in both of them:)
...Actually, Illasera was a bullsh*t before the patch, I was really surprised at her at the first time...was this a child of Bhaal??? Well a wekling mage around 18 level or so. Pathetic. The new "archer" design is much more impressive:)
Perhaps try her (and her improved party) by starting a new character in ToB! Suxxx, I say! She kicks ass! At least mine...

[IMG] L 18 mage? So she had L9 spells? Poor girl. She certainly never got the chance to use them on me.

Random comment: I hate enemy archers. They invariably target my mages; with the STR drain, in no time my mages can't move because they are carrying too much. Grr.

Well then you would HATE her:D
She does massive damage(4d6 + save vs.spell or additional 2d10 and stun:)) with her bow, and she's also invisible many times. Not to mention that guy in her party that teleports after you every second. Damn hot one:evil:
