Improved Haste

    [​IMG] Are there any items that give permanent improved haste (please only include what is originally in the game before mods, other custom changes, etc.)?
    If not, what items allow a free casting of imp. haste (such as the ring of gaxx)? Much thanks!

    In the unmodded game you can't get permanent Improved Haste. In addition to the Ring of Gaxx there are Bracers of Blinding Strike in the Underdark, and in TOB you can have the Cloak of Protection +2 upgraded. These allow you use IH once per day.

    Regular Haste, actually.

    And . . . there's also this one set of Boots of Lightning Speed which give you a double-strength haste spell while you're wearing them, but they make you as useless as a Mislead image. You can't attack, you can't cast spells, all you can do is run your a$$ off. :shake:

    Is the Imp. Haste effect of Ring of Kangaxx buggy? For some reason it NEVER worked for my old kensai pal. :confused: :confused:

    It should work even if you are wearing a ring of free action, but it's really short in duration.

    Just how short? I checked after using it and my kensai still had 4+1/2 attacks, (dual wielding Celestial Fury+5 and Sanchuudoku+4, with Fixed True Grand Mastery and a high fighter level) after casting IH by a caster he had 9 attacks. (making GWW obsolote!) I guess it was a bug. :(
