    Hi,

In real D&D a rogue under the effect of Improved Invisibility will deal SA damage with every attacks.

    Is this true in IWD2?

    Thanks!

No. You get a little short-changed in IWD2 with sneak attack damage (compared to say, NWN) as you have to be behind an opponent or fully invisible, so the 50% concealment from Improved Invisibility isn't enough. This is generally why folks don't bother with characters having many rogue levels in IWD2.

^In unpatched version ImpInv. is soo mean that you will remain totally invisible whatever you do. Maybe this lets you sneak attack too? Never bothered with high level rogues though they have 10d6 sneak attack at max plus all thopse crippling injury specials? NOT bad but still...
