    [​IMG] I am just now creating a Cavalier character, and am curious as to the role-playing aspect. I am looking forward to using Carsomyr myself, and am going after 2-handed weapons, however, I am unsure as to whether or not some of the other 2-handed weapons are un-Palidin-like, for example the halberd. Someone who has some insight into this, I would greatly appreciate your input.

    Well, I agree that Carsomyr IS the ultimate Paladin weapon. But, I don't think that other weapons are not usable by Paladins, except for special cases like Sarevok's Swords, Jhor the Bleeder, or other particular weapons that have an Evil Aura. But, I can imagine a Paladin using an Halberd, though it's not common. In P&P, the Cavalier uses spears very well, in the Unearthed Arcana version, they have an awesome bonus with spears when they are mounted :).

    Well I play a Vavalier lev 17(I´m in cap VII)and I use a scimitarr Belm +2 abilities: set attack to 1 per round, does means I attack 4 times per round. plus I ´ve the SHIELD of ARMONY +2 immunity to Charm,Confusion,domination,and hold a person,they cannot stop me, but they can still kill me! I dont know jet how will be playng Cap VII but untill now my Cavalier was a great fighter. I dont think u need 2 hands weapons a good Shield is invaluable.

    My current Paladin, Undead Hunter, is level 15, Thaco -3 with Carsomyr, and 'only' 5/2 attacks/round. Ok, the number of attacks is less than your but she hits more often I guess and the damages are awesome against CE creatures. And indeed, unlimited dispell magic is very powerfull against people using mirror image, stoneskin or better protection. She uses a helm of charm, with protection against several charm spells. Her AC is not really good, -6, but she uses the ring of regeneration too :).
