I was wondering if it's possible to incriminate Isea Roenall with arranging the invasion of the D'Arnise Keep. I've managed to free Nalia, after he has her arrested, and there is an entry in my journal (which i think i got from the guarded compound, but i'm not sure) which hints that Roenall was responsible for the troll invasion. Also, the entry which appeared after I freed Nalia hints that the quest can be continued. Can anyone help me out, here?

    Ta. :help:

It is possible to continue the quest, but you need a fighter (NOT a paladin or ranger)character so that Nalia will assign control of the keep to you after the invasion is stopped. You then go to the guarded compound in the Temple district and kill the people there; in order to get a note that tells you how to continue.
*SPOILER* If you dont want to start the game over again...find a rogue stone and go to the SW portion of the docks district, there is a door that doesnt seem to lead anywhere. Its next to the door that leads to the elemental lich's room; the gem is the key to getting thru. Be prepared going in, its a HARD battle!! I cant *guarrantee* that itll work with a non-fighter character, but I dont see why it wouldnt. Its worth it just to hear that little twerp squeal when you finally nail him to the wall ;)

Not only a fighter, but also a Barbarian and a monk will get the stronghold.

Hmmm, doesn't monks get thief stronghold???
I know that when I was a fighter I got a note from Koshi about the twisted rune and how to get there. But I don't understand how that could be linked ti ISea Roenall and the troll invasion....Although I remember that I put him to prison by talking ti a guy in the bar at the docks and looting his house. Then I fun informatuion with his dealings with slaves, pirates and gems....

Monk is a bare-hand fighter with stealth ability, not a thief with combat-bonus...:)

When you follow thru with the Twisted Rune note, you find evidence that Isaea was behind the whole invasion, not just the slavers. After you take the evidence to Inspector Brega, he arrests Isaea.

[IMG] A Nalia romance does exist, but it's a fan-made mod. It's listed among custom made stuff on SP.

[IMG] Is there any way to get a quest link to the Temple Compound or the Twisted Rune without being a fighter? I though that someone in the Skinner quest said something about crossing "the Rune" at one point and I'd like to take advantage of any questing XP I can. :borg: Heh heh, I just wanted to use this in a post. This board has some very original similes ;)

  10. the only conection to the Skinner quest that "The Rune" has iirc is if you follow him to the bottom floor, you fight several members of the "Rune." Someone else would probably know more about it than I do.
