Installation-deinstallation question...

    hi there !

    I tried to install to install BG II, and while installing it ´(on the comp at my work) the pc crashed.
    this processed left some files on the pc, and i couldnt deinstall.
    so i deleted the files.
    right now í wanted to ´re´install, but everytime i put the cd rom into the drive, there is no install option, just the play option.
    so i thought: okay there must be something left in the registry, and deleted all entries with baldurs gate, bioware and black isalnd.
    but i still cannot install the game anymore
    i am using windows 2000.
    please help me, because BG II could shorten up my nightshifts.

    I àlready started to ´play´with the registry...i am sure i did not delete one or another keys (like you predicted the ones not named like bg...).
    BUT
    Win2000 crashed totally...everytime i start the pc all i get is: OS could not be found...ahemm...they gonna kill me...
    but i will fix it...

    so because i cant use the pc the next nightshift i thought about bringing my sister laptop to play...BUT everytime i want to install the game, the program asks for disc one at the end (for the second time disc one), but then i cannot be read, altough it was read at the beginning of the installation...
