OK, I read the post (best henchman) and got to the part about Daelin Red Tiger being retarded and getting stuck. I have the "versus" books and they say that intelligence is not too important and that you should beef up other things that your class requires the most of (unless it IS intelligence) when I do this, I notice that MY character seems to not know where to go. Normally, when using the recommended configurations, I can click on a door and my character will go around whatever is necessary to get to the door. with a low intelligence he'll just run into walls and get himself stuck. os this coonicidental to him having low intelligence or is this part of the game? Perhaps Daelin isn't the crispiest fry in the happy meal?

    Thanks

The neat thing in NWN is that "secondary" stats such as int and chr have a much more direct effect as in BG-2 with the result that - depending on what class you play - no stat is unimportant. You have to find a ballance.

[*]int below 9 significantly reduces the dialogue-choices your char can make in a conversation (just check the SOTW for an int-8 dialogue). Most significant inpact of a low int is the lack of skillpoints per level.

[*]chr influences a pallies and cleric's turn undead ability, gives the char a better persuade skill (very useful) and gives the sorcerer more spells.

So it's up to you and your preferences.
