interesting bug

    I am in underdark and i traded with the gnome in the inn. Here i noticed an odd fact; my cloak of a stars, not a particularly miraculous item, was worth over 20,000,000 gold. So, I sold it, to see if maybe it was just a glitch with the numbers, but i really became 20000000 gold pieces richer. Has anyone else seen this bug?

    Yea, that's one of the known bugs. Although the patch is supposed to fix it, so I gather you don't have it installed...

    if i install the patch what will happen to my saved game? will it delete all my money or just the money from the bug?

    I guess no. It´s saved and it has happened before. Should you reload a savegame from before you sold that item, you´ll find that you won´t get this huge sum then.

    However, why should you like to fix that particular bug? :D
