    Isn't it about time that someone created an app so I can easily post and read to the BoM? The bi-weekly screen shot would also be a nice touch.

    vBulletin's supposed to get a mobile skin at some point in the future, but it's anybody's guess how long it'll be before it's actually available. And how long it'll take until the next major version is fixed to the point that we'll be switching to it, because currently it's so bug-ridden that I don't expect it to get cleaned enough in the next 6 months...

    I've been checking BoM pretty regularly from my iPhone (I'm posting from it right now in fact). It's a little tricky getting to some of links, but I've found it to be generally usable, including accessing the main SP page. For whatever that's worth....

    Oh trust me, the recession was a major theme for me in 2009. The bank that I was employed with for 6+ years got shutdown by the FDIC at the tail end of 08, and taken over by another bank. I helped that other bank to integrate some critical systems and data for more than half a year, then me, my entire team, and nearly my entire business unit all got laid off. I dealt with 5 months of unemployment, which happily ended in November. Damn it, my one splurge for the entire year of 2009 was the iPhone, which I physically purchased, gave to my wife to wrap, and opened on Christmas day like it was biggest surprise ever! I will make no apologies. :good:

    It would be nice to have an SP Lite app for blackberries... loading large pages on 3G takes a while with blackberry's browser.

    Get the Opera Mini browser for your BB.

    I view and post on the BoM fairly regularly on my BB. No retarded app that wastes space needed. :love:

    I find viewing the BoM using a phone's browser to be kind of a pain in the neck. It would also be nice that it would automatically log you in.

    I am getting automatically logged into BoM from my iPhone. The first time I logged in I set the checkbox to be remembered, and that set a cookie just like when I connect from a desktop.

    [​IMG] Just to remind everyone, there are a few settings that you can turn off in your profile to make browsing easier on mobile devices. You can turn off the displaying of all signatures, avatars and images, which should account for the majority of visual elements and bandwidth suckers.

    Beyond that, if you get an SPS account, you can also turn off all the ads. That leaves you with pretty much bare-bones text-only forums which should be very fast and easy to use even on mobiles.

    I do, but I don't like it as much as the regular browser because the keyboard is much more difficult to use when it is in the upright position (I have the Storm2, which works really well in landscape mode with it's full keyboard). It would be nice to be able to use Opera sideways, but as of now, it can't, so I am stuck with blackberry browser.

    A mobile skin for lower resolutions would be quite useful. But after surfing around BoM with a smartphone that has a resolution of 800 x 480 for some time now I can say that it is comfortable with the default settings. Fast and you do not even have to scroll horizontally.
