Is there a way to remove a quest from your quest list?

    Silly question... I don't need the obvious answer. ;)

    I completed a quest (it was the one where the Fighter trainer Gensai guy gave me... about proving why I need training and I needed to talk to the thief trainer.)

    I did this quest, but it still appears on my list. How can I get rid of it?

    I don't think you can. It may disapper after the next chapter???

    Question:

    Did you get that quest, talk to Eli, and then boost your intelligence to >14 before completing it with Qui-Sai so that you were able to get past the similar "talk to the mage tutor" quest without having to actually talk to the mage tutor? I can see how the quest might not close in that circumstance.

    If you did that, the only way you'll get rid of it is to use a save game editor to change the value of the global variable Qui_Sai_Quest to 2. And that would probably put a false "I talked to the mage tutor" completed quest in your journal. Not worth the trouble, IMO.

    I'm looking for a way to fix it for my Fixpack now. It's a pain because the "talk to thief tutor" and "talk to mage tutor" quests share the same variable in their condition check. Any easy fix results in potentially getting one of those two quests listed in the "completed" section even though you were never assigned it. Ugh.

    (PS:T doesn't have chapters, btw)

    Okay, figured out a fix.

    If you do decide to do the save game edit, set the value of the Qui_Sai_Quest variable to 3. That should get you the talk-to-thief-tutor quest into your completed quest list without putting the talk-to-mage-tutor quest into your quest book at all.
