[IMG] Is Oswald productive enough to manufacture multiple items at the same time? I've asked him to manufacture an armor out of a boring beetle shell; can I have him work on other items at the same time?

I'll admit to being too afraid to try, even if the simple answer would be to reload..... Doh!!

Yes he can, but he won't produce them any faster. He'll complete each thing in turn.

Thank you Harbourboy for your reply. But just to make sure I understand properly..... Can he work on them simultaneously?

Meaning.... If he needs 3 days to complete the first item, and 2 for the second one, the second item will only be available on day No. 5? And not on the second day, even if my "orders" were placed on the same day, right?

All of them run concurrently. The counter for each item starts from the time you hand over those items for fabrication.
You can hand over the boring beetle shells, yeti pelts and winter wolf pelts all you want, get whatever you want made. The clock starts ticking individually for each of them.

On a side note, the stuff he makes is utterly useless. Dont bother.

Yeah, the charisma bonus on the winter wolf items doesn't even stack. :(

I happened to find the boring beetle shell usefull for quite a ways down the game (was a majorly missing some better armor) so i would have him make that for all your main fighters, but i agree that the other stuff is useless.

If you're high on gold I would have him create a winter wolf cloak. Although the item is poor in quality, you will not be getting a better cloak for some time and a little protection is better than none.

The full plate Beetle armour is great if you have a cleric with low strength who gets too weighed down my normal plate armour. Plus it makes your character all green which is cool.

Winter Wolf anything gives you +1Charisma and +1 Cold Resistance. If you are talking of Char then maybe, considering you wont find any char increasing items in a hurry. However you can buy Boots of the North from Elytharra which provide you with +6 cold resistance.

Yeah the full plate does look cool.

If you have a Sorcerer, I like to get a Winter Wolf Hat. There are very few Charisma raising items in the game, and none are available this early in the game. I like the hat as there some pretty good cloaks available starting in late Ch. 2, but almost nothing else that a Sorcerer is likely to want to put on his head; I usually put the Wyrm helmet on a melee type and the Crow's Nest on my high AC guy.
