    [​IMG] Just a little note to all of you who haven't read the Rules/FAQ since you registered, or not at all yet.

    The Rules/FAQ you can read at http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/faq.html or by clicking on the faq link on most pages of Boards O' Magick has been updated extensively over the last few months. Most of you probably didn't read it again if you registered before, so you missed a lot of changes. And keep doing things we specifically ask you not to in the Basic Forum Rules listed at the url above.

    So do me, all other mods and admins and all other people posting here a favour and take a couple minutes to go over it. It's a guaranteed karma booster. You'll see how much more popular you'll be if you stick to the rules. Live long and prosper. :happy:

    I have followed Headbangers excellent idea. I even make 100 flyers a day, which I give to random people on the street. Just in case they should join. :)

    Yay those rules rock!

    Anyway I learned by trial. Made a double post, spammed a lot. Yeah I was annoying back then. It made me feel better when I found an old post from Extremist's newbie times when he got trashed by BTA. :D Everyone has a mirthfull past.

    okay, as the only Holy :holy: person on this forum . . . (hmmm, not working either)

    As a fellow sinner :evil: (yeah, that works!!!) I can say that these FAQ's are the only thing that keep this forum (and me) sane.

    I've often found myself in a conversation at work and was going to follow one comment with another one (without letting the other person get a word in edge-wise) and suddenly I remember ... NO DOUBLE POSTING.

    And then I get really mad and am about to say something mean-spirited, but a calm voice whispers in my ear, "NO PERSONAL ATTACKS OR FLAMING."

    These are truly words to live by! :grin: :holy:

    Thats the reason that i like these forums better tha any else on the web. These are a pleasure to read, (almost) without any spammers, idiots and doubleposters (those few who do doublepost will almost certainly nver do it again, due to the strict justice here :D (although i thought that BTA was a little hard on Extremist)) Every where else people are just posting to get their levels up, just yesterday i saw in the Terra-Arcanum boards a guy who posted nothing but :) whats the sense in that?

    First to say, BTA's post wasn't so hard - that time double posting was a serious problem on SP, and he striked me to a heart of problem, why should he wear gloves?

    Terra-Arcanum's forums are IMHO the best example to see how one forum SHOULDN'T look. What are mods there for? For nothing I guess. Just as decoration.
