    Heck the definition of 'assault' in the Canadian Criminal Code:

    So if I were the judge presiding over this case, I'd agree that Mr. Stone's actions were performance art, but equally, a belivable threat to the percieved victims, and thus still assault. :D

    Reminds me of the story about a Danish smart*** who spent a couple of weeks in jail in New York shortly after 9/11. Reason: When asked in the airport if he had any explosives, he answered "Only a small bomb." The American authorities somehow failed to get the "joke". Bleeding idiot got what he deserved! ;)
