IW2 Character modification

    Hi

    I finished IW1 and HOW. I've yet to download trial of Lmaster.

    I noticed that I can't import my characters from IW1 and the addons because of the updated character list and abilities.

    Is there a program that i can use to modify some if not all the stats of my new party to match my old team?

    IWD2 doesn't just update character lists and abilities from IWD1, it uses totally different rules. I recommend reading the manual.

    I don't think using your modified IWD characters will make you happy, not only because you're supposed to start with level 1 characters and multi- or dualclassed spellcasters are crippled spellcasters in IWD2.

    If you are playing IWD2, start a new game and create all your characters from scratch, that is the way the game is supposed to be played and enjoyed. IWD and IWD 2 uses VERY different rules (mainly, 2e vs 3e, the eternal edition wars!) so you can not just import your old IWD party to IWD2. You can create very similiar party members though. Have fun!
