I'm playing semi-solo through SoA with Jaheira hangin' around, and I was wonder #1, where I get Belm exactly
and #2, how to do her quest, (the one where she is cursed).

I've never actually found the guy using clues. I randomly went into a house, (which I thought was Gaelen's), and found him there, and that's how I've always found him and killed him. But every time I do that, Jaheira continues to be cursed!! Any help?

IIRC, you get Belm during the Druid Grove-quest. You get it from either the Dao-Djinn, Rashad or what his name is in the Druid Grove or the other building there. There's lots of cow-fodder in the "lower" building. One of the stacks contain a scimitar if I'm not mistaken.

When you kill him, Jaheira's curse will disappear in a few days. I don't know if it's necessary, though I keep the hair until it's gone. Like I said, it takes a few days.

You need to pick up her lock of hair and rest (sometimes twice).

Belm is found in the druid groves, which is accessable after going to Trademeet.

Work your way back to the eastern edge of the grove. You'll come across a bridge. At the other end of the bridge is a cottage. However, there's also a set of stairs leading downwards. Go down those stairs and enter a tower.

The Belm scimitar is in a haystack.

I must have played through that bit a dozen times or more and yet never knew you could head down some stairs and enter a tower.

Amazing just how many times you can play BG2 and still find things you didn't do previously.

And the curse on Jaheira will end after 24 hours, after you've picked up the lock of hair. The hints you gain, AFAIK are in the goverment district, where you must enter the goerment building and talk to the guy in charge of the magic permits. An other clue is gained from Bernard in the Copper Coronet (what's a coronet actually? English is not my native language). I don't know if there's another clue to follow.

A coronet is a horn. Kind of like a trumpet, but IIRC, it doesn't have the buttons on the top. The difference in tone is produced by changing the force of the air blown into it, and by loosening and tightening your lips on the mouthpiece.
