I am posting this question in 2 forums just in case I get different answers, copy and paste text but everything is true. I am new to BG2, so I did search but was too confused to find anything meaningful.

Anyways, I don't know if this is supposed to happen or not, but after I killed off a bunch of Undead when we enter the tomb during Korgan's quest, Jaheira just freezes in the center standing without any actions. I tried selecting, talking but nothing happens. So I lost a party member (damn useful one) right there, any ideas if this is a bug or not?

Did she leave your party? If not, does she have any "special effect" icons on her portrait or does she glow or something? Anyway try to open the "baldur.ini" file in your bg2 folder and write: Debug Mode=1 (Case sensitive) below "program options" and then try to press ctrl+r on her portrait or person

I think there's a Flesh to Stone trap in that room which could be causing it. If she doesn't appear to be in the party and seems grey, that's the problem. You'll need a Stone to Flesh scroll to cure her.

If you don'T have her portrait, and she just stands there frozen, with granite-color, she is petrified. You can'T notice this if she was already iron-skinned, ie:already in the color of the stone.

You need to cast a Stone to Flesh spell on her (6th level mage) OR just use a green (usable by anone with normal INT) Stone to Flesh scroll on her. You can buy tons of these scrolls from temples, they are hell cheap too!

Once she is de-stoned, talk with her and take to your party again! Though she will have only 1 HP left!

Then again being petrified messes up romances, so you had better load! I guess she MAY head for the Harper base, as if kicked out completely.

If she is not petrified, (you still have her portrait) I guess it may be a permanent paralysis bug, try CTRL+R her, this cures basicaly everything.

Yup, no portrait or anything. I have one greyed out portrait of that Anomen after he got killed in those tombs. Right now I am way ahead in storyline with new party members, I will go resurrect Jaheira just to see what happens.

Any ideas how I can resurrect Anomean after he got killed (though I don't remember where exactly)?

Another question. You know those 'circled' location names shown in map of a town? I can't see them anymore. All I see is just the map without any circled specific locations in every town. I tried searching for a key for this feature in manual and config program, but haven't found anything so far.

Thanks for the answers btw :)

Go to a temple (any temple) and raise him.
The map markers will come back if you click on the big steel diamond on the map screen.

Be careful, if a petrified creature takes a damage it will shatter, making it impossible to revive!
