Jaheira, the Harpers and the bandits

    I'm on my second time through the game and have encountered a bit of a problem.

    I have just completed the quest when you have to rescue Montaron from the Harper Hold and I thought after this someone from the Harpers should come requesting an audience with my character. Some time later and nothing has happened. Is this a bug?

    Also, earlier when we were attacked by bandits, after offering myself as hostage I was shot but the bandits did not turn hostile. So I force attacked attacked them but after killing them isn't Jaheira supposed to thank you? Nothing happened.

    Please help.

    Sounds like a bug to me.

    The logic in Baldurs Gate 2 isnt perfect, despite being an otherwise brilliant game.

    I bet if you go back and do it again it will not happen. A string of seemingless unrelated events in a particular order can screw the logic and cease events from occurring, from what I gather.

    It happened to me on the unseeing eye quest - 1 time, i got the rod but he just wouldnt appear. I ended up continuing and completing that game with that quest still appearing in my diary and uncompleted.

    Also, another time anomen tried to be judged a second time, after already having been judged. Very strange - you need to save regularly and when it doubt backtrack.....

    Jaheira romance is one of the most bugy and screwed ones (or the most if you don't use mods) doing it means constant saving and hoping really hard you'll be able to finish it.
