    I was meeting Mook by the docks, and I passed by Jaheira at the Harper Building, and she suddenly started talking to me. About what path we might take.

    The patch doesn't help, that happened to me too

    I had left her for about an in-game month and I strolled past and she started flirting with me, it was strange

    In brief - that's exploitable romance bug. Details on it are available inside SoA Romancing Guide.
    And it was not fixed with official patch.

    That means: you may continue romance with Jaheira although centuries could have passed.
