Gamecloud has interviewed the famous gaming musician Jeremy Soule who created soundtracks for the Icewind Dale saga, Neverwinter Nights and many other famous titles. Here's a snip:

Gamecloud - Overall, what do you feel was the most significant thing that happened in 2005 in the video and PC game industry?

Jeremy Soule - I don't think anything really radical happened this year. But in the evolution of our industry, I would say that it was this year that the business of online games had really sunk into the mainstream consciousness of the financial community. Let's face it! The money people are all powerful. World of Warcraft had impressive numbers and it is an online phenomena. Interconnectivity and interactivity are now joined at the hip in the minds of your average investors. Any game platform is going to live or die by the quality of its net plan and support. And with success on the scale of WoW, I think significantly more interest will come from the Street next year.
