    Hence having to start Christmas Shopping. Was horrified visiting Sals work where there were shiny ribbons and Christmas stuff around.

    Then I realised "ooh shiny ribbons" that and the awesome number of lights some of the buildings have for christmas. One has those webs of Christmas lights that sparkle and twinkle on and off in random patterns.

    I'm just a country lass :o

    [​IMG] :Dlooks nice. in holland, we traditionally don't start with Xmas decorations until after december 5th, because then we celebrate Sinterklaas (this was Coca Cola's inspiration for Santa Claus).

    I love the SP Christmas decoration :D

    And yes, it may not be December yet, but we've had some Christmas decoration in the city since October, so if anything SP's late in putting them up :p

    (and let's not even go into Christmas lunches being booked in August, or Christmas shops advertising presents for the next December 25th back in February...)

    I'm going through retail hell as we speak, so hey, wait for me!

    /packs a bag full with barbed wire, a sledgehammer, panes of glass, baseball bat, thumbtacks, steel chairs, a weedwhacker, a table and some other random ultraviolent everyday objects

    I dislike Xmas. The Xmas carols made that evolve into I [12 censored words] Xmas!

    I put up the "new" tree this year. 7 ft. monster's box is triple the size of our old 6 ft. tree. It doesn't fit in the space we made for it and I 300 lights only cover half of the tree but my fiance loves it and that's all that matters.
