[IMG] Hey guys, as those of you that read the relationship rant thread in whatnots know, my girlffriend (now ex) moved to San Francisco around 2 weeks ago.

Anyway, she's been looking for a job and having a hard time so I want to try and help her out. What are the best job searching/posting sites out there? I'd like to help her out by going to these sites and checking if there's anything that she'd be interested in (retail and fashion)that are in her area.

    Thanks guys.

Monster.com is one I've seen ads for.

Also, tell her to see if the local paper and/or tv stations have an online classifieds section. :thumb: :rolling:

    monster.com (the best)
    careers.yahoo.com
    sanfranjobs.com
    jobbankusa.com
    usajobs.opm.gov
    jobbankinfo.org

You can also check out the classifieds online for major newspapers such as:

    sfgate.com/jobs/

Just recommend the sites, I wouldn't tell her what jobs are available (unless she SPECIFICALLY asks you to).

    As others have stated...Monster.com

    Also try careerbuilder.com and hotjobs.com

These are the 3 big online job resources; however they also tend to post junk jobs.

I recommend checking the local papers to see if they offer online job postings or try to see if there is a local company that does online job postings. I know in Maine we have 2 or 3 independent online job posting companies that have very good job posting when compared to Monster, HotJobs and Careerbuilder.

Thanks for the tips guys. I also just got a copy of Richard Bolles' 2007 revised edition of "What Color is your parachute?".
