[IMG] What the...? In the Cloakwood forest, in a spider cave, resides a pudgey thing with a voice of a woman? And before it and it's spiders attack you, you can talk to it. It says something about it being cursed by an arch-mage "Jon Icarus". Hmmmm. What's going on here? Is this any relation to the antagonist we all love in BG2? :D

[Please edit your post for things like that instead of adding another one that's just nonsense... I helped you out this time; next time I'll just delete it. BTA]

Well I'm actually playing another game of BG1. When I get to the Cloakwood area I'll have to read the text -a bit more closely. Of course there are numerous ties between BG1 and BG2 so it wouldn't surprise me if it was Jon Boy Walton.

*shudder* I hate his sword spider friends. Out of interest, does he actually do anything when you go in apart from setting his creatures on you.

[IMG] It seemed like all the dialouge options ended in fighting, one of my favorites was asking it why it was so fat. It was very ugly, perhaps the ugliest creature I've had to fight in either of the BG's.
I still don't get the "Jon Icarus" part.

    [IMG] Really?!?!

I'm glad you're here to tell us these things. Chewie take the professor in the back and plug him into the hyperdrive.

Do you still care Big B?

BTA, You say it is a wannabe, It could easily be Jon Irenicus (the true one). But his name was just remembered wrong. It is not like he has a sign on his head saying "jon Irenicus" :p

DarkCroll has picked up a slight flutter

[No, no, all I did back there (and all that time ago) was merge Dudette's double post into one; everything I wrote was in the brackets (like now :) ) - BTA]
