Alright, I just finished this sweet expansion. It kicked ass, and I am this close to thinking it's story is much cooler than the original ID story. The damn Luremaster turned out to be such a pain in the ass in the end (it took me an hour and a half to beat him and his lame ass minions). Hehe, also it was cool when he yelled "To arms".The only part where I got stuck, is when I turned into an idiot, and looked for a portal on the whole level which would take me back to Lonelywood, instead of just using the damn ring (I thought that just by wearing it, and stepping through some portal it would send me back...pffft, my ideas...)
Also, the hanged guy looked very cool.

I read somewhere that another expansion should be made for it, but I'm not sure about it. Anyone knows?

Now, just to complete the whole game (again), and I'm going for the heart of fury mode.

Daddy's gonna breed some level40 monsters...

    Also, is IDII better?

^IWD2 uses spiffy 3E rules, and thus better for some people as it gives more flexibility to character creaiton or so they say. If you are used to 2E ou may have a hard time just creating your characters. Ofcourse it has MUCH more beautiful graphics, effects, sound, interface etc. and thus requires better system as well.

If you ask me IWD2 is a GREAT game though it has its flaws, it has MARVELOUSLY designed COMPLEX stages as well as hack-and-slash stages for both tastes. Fights are pretty cool and hard too! Though there are some annoying bugs, leveling up becomes harder due to stupid CRs of critters, and one can easily got stuck in the game if does not what to do? (I was stuck for 3months as I could not find a stupid hidden lever that can not be seen when you TAB to highlight things.) still that does not prevent me from beating it for a few times...and it was well worth the time I spent.
