So I fired up BG2 the other day, and I ran into a bug I have never encountered before. I had Keldorn in my party, and I did that bit with his wife. He asked to stay with her for a few days, or something like that. I let him stay for one day (wich I have done in the past). Now the journal says I am to pick him up after a week, but when I do it says "Keldorn apears busy". Its gone way past a week, by the way. I have never run into anything like this before. any clues?

My BG2 has throne of bhaal installed, and patched. No mods or anything like that installed.

This is a classic ToB bug fixed by the ToB patch. Are you sure you've installed the ToB patch?

This is an unusual question to ask in 2012, but it would have made sense in 2002. Did you have Windows 95/98/ME installed on a computer, and install the game there, patch it, and mod it, then back up your game folder?
Did you then recently reinstall Baldur's Gate 2:ToB, and instead of reinstalling every patch and mod, simply copy your old game folder that was originally installed on Windows 9X?

Is so, you'll find that the patch needs to be reinstalled.

Kinda elaborate, but I just discovered this myself as I had a system I finally upgraded from Windows 98 to XP Professional as I just recently got an extra copy from somebody. I never thought I'd bother upgrading that old machine.
