Kelsey in ToB

    I just installed the Kelsey 'mod' and he works perfectly in SoA. But when I run the ToB installer for Kelsey it tells me to re-run it, and when I do, it tells me to re-run it again, etc etc. Am I doing anything wrong? There's nothing I can see that I did wrong, I just followed any instructions (where/if there were any), and like I said, Kelsey works just peachy in SoA.

    I tested a new game of ToB after trying to install Kelsey, and he couldn't be summoned via the fate statue. Is he supposed to be, or should I look for him in Saradush?

    When you are attempting to install Kelsey-ToB, was your game running? Where any programs like ShadowKeeper or Infinity Explorer running at the same time? If so, shut them all down and re-run the setup. Cleaning out your Windows Temp folder may help, as well.

    I didn't have anything else runnung at the time. The message I got in the DOS window was something like "Please RE-RUN Setup-KelseyTOB.exe (Windows won't let me do it for you.)"


    When I re-ran it, the same thing happened over and over after copying the files, and I never got Kelsey to use in ToB.

    That sounds like the message you get when a mod updates the version of Weidu. Perhaps getting an newer mod or the latest version of Weidu and running it will override it?

    The problem is that you're not actually following the directions.

    When it tells you to re-run "Setup-KelseyTOB.exe" that is PRECISELY what it is asking you to do.

    Do NOT re-run "KelseyTOBV22.exe", the program you downloaded. Go into your BG2 directory and run "Setup-KelseyTOB.exe."

    Then, everything will work.
