    boooo, he's a cheater :)

I recently started a new game and I want something different. After 15 games the variety seems to miss.

    history http://www.sorcerers.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?/topic/10/3973.html

I start with a Kensai and dual to thief at level9. When I reach the 5X backstab I want more and change via SK my kensai kit to assasin kit to have the possibility to reach 7X. I didn't loose the Kai ability. But I have a little question about the fan of thieves.

How do you backstab a mage with stoneskin when you solo?

With the remorse of a cheater for that game I add the inquisitor kit for dispel and true seeing. (cheat a lot or don't cheat) :)

    Result:
The game is very too easy. Bad move, never cheat again :(

The entire purpose of stoneskin is so you CANT backstab them! So if you wanna take it out, you have to use a wand of Spell Striking or something, and then beat them up. Thing is...using the wand cancels your invisibility.

You're better off just wailing on them.

But a Mage/Assassin could wield the Staff Of Magi, what would dispel the Stoneskin... And if you flee, get out of sight, hide in shadows, and return next time you can backstab.

But this is stupid thing, if you are killing mage, just use your poison ability! You are an assassin! Fire some arrows from a distant, and turn against the the others. The spells will be interrupted, and mage wont stand the poison damage for a long time...

Better yet, use Fire/Cold Arrows on them because elemental attacks ignore stoneskin, and the poison damage still connects iirc.
