keymap "`" to select all

    must...config...`...to...select...all...*dies*

    this is driving me nuts, when I was playing BG1 I could easily select all chars with the "`" (the key next to the number 1) ... but in BG2 it seems it is unmapable. But searching here and there someone said to set Debug Mode = 0 in baldur.ini .. two questions, where do I put debug mode in baldur.ini? I can't seem to find it .. or is there another solution?

    [​IMG] Setting the cheats on would enable enable you to use the cheat key combinations in game. But i don't think it will let you sonfigure to use ` in the config program.

    I think your best bet would to just find another key to use.

    There should be a guide on enabling cheats in the BG2 tips and tricks section (It's here) but I don't think what you are looking for is there.

    Open keymap.ini with Notepad (or any text editor), locate "Select All Members=+", and change the + to whatever you want. I'm not sure it'll work as it's among the unmappable keys, however.

    ` is already used at Unmappable13=`, but it might work if you just switch it with a + plus there, and put the ` for Select All Members=.

    Possibly because 1-6 select individual party members (IIRC), so having select all set to ` would add quite a bit of convenience.

    I tried that but to no avail, I didn't have Unmappable13= though. but I don't think that would make a difference.

    There is a section called [Keyboard] and ` is in there. I tried c/ping select all members with and w/o quotes but it didn't work either ... unless I'm inputting it incorrectly.

    I'm guessing it's hardcoded and that's alittle beyond me at this point. But thanks for the help. :D
