Kill Kangaxx - no exp.?

    [​IMG] In final of chapter III, I deal with the very(?) powerfull Demi-lich. Kangaxx-lich was terminated by traps, and the demi-lich died after combination: ring of Ram/mace of disruption+2/Carsomyr. No casualities, no woundeds, and all fight last 10 sec. :D
    The problem is that I didn't get any experience. Why? What I did wrong? I kill him too fast?
    I reload and kill him again, but now be bite me: imprison Yoshi (no freedom spell - reload) etc. First time is only once :)
    P.S.: after so many advices in this forum about killing Kangaxx, it was a piece of cake. Thanks guys ...

    I now that, I reload a few times and kill him again, but why did not give me exp. in the first time?

    You could have killed him too fast.
    If you used traps maybe he died before he could turn into demi-lich hood.

    [​IMG] Nope, Kangaxx lich is never dying too fast. If he take a loot of damage (traps, spells, weapons), he always is "near death" and hecame Demi-lich. I killed him as demi-lich.

    Err, maybe I'm wrong here - but if you slayed him with one stroke using Mace of Disruption +2 - maybe then you don't get XP.

    If you kill Kangaxx you get 55000xp a ring that gives the wearer +2 ac +2 to all saves
    improved haste x times a day and improved invisibility x times a day

    maybe its one of those things like when you imprison someone.. the enemy is "defeated" but you dont get any XP

    There was a bug (patch is available on this site, I believe) where killing a monster via traps prevented you from getting the experience points. Install the patch and the trap-killed critters will get you experience points.

    [​IMG] I reload and kill Kangaxx a few times, only to try another strategies. Only the first time I killed him, I didn't receive exp. I used some traps for the lich form, and not for the Demi-lich.
    The quickest battle with the Demi-lich: Minsc, with Protection from Magic, Mace of Disruption +2 and Daystar, did 2 damage, no save -> Kangaxx history. This mace is AWESOME against undead, even the so powerfull Kangaxx.
