Alright, I would like to know what downloadable kits are the most fun to play with. Not necessarily the most powerful but the most useful. I intend to create a full party and am open for suggestions as for 5 of the six places as one place is taken by a wild mage.
    Cheers

Druidic Sorcerer was a fun kit, unique class, new and cool HLAs, but it has many bugs, if you do not think it is worth it, skip it.

There are lots of other kit dowloads, which comes in pack with other mods too. (RTT kit pack mod comesto my mind) Google it and see.

Samurai kit hosted here in SP also is fine enough, I have tested it and I can say it is bug free.

Alright. Over the last couple of days I have trialed a few different classes; Elf paladin, amazon, arcane archer, shuri ninja and the auramaster druid.

I have decided to play a game where I will mainly use range weapons so my party will probably consist of 3 of the following: peerless archer, amazon, arcane archer, archer of sylvanus as well as the auramaster, a sharpshooter thief kit and the wild mage. If anyone has anything to add or knows of a kit that is better than any of the ones mentioned above, please do share. Cheers

Hmm, but you may need at least one tank for melee-fighting. Do you know Arcane fist kit? It is a very interesting kit, a bard-monk hybrid, which is very interesting IMHO. I liked it. If you also get Oversight monk HLAs, this guy rocks. Both casting stoneskin&PfMW and attacking with Tiger Strike, Quivering Palm etc. Fun!

Silver didn't you tell me that the Druidic Sorcerer was waaaaaaaay overpowered? :p

Maybe a little bit, but he also has disadvantages. Though it was my Planar Sphere mod which gave so much power:literally 2 M bonus XP to all people in the party, the new most powerful equipment for mages, eye and cloak of vecna, oh and those spiffy unique spells:Wave of Obliteration spell even made Ascension final battle on insane a walk in the park as it disintegrated all the toughest elite demons (babaus, balors, mariliths, alu-fiends, succubi etc.) Mel summoned instantly.

Anyway, I got rid of PS mod and I feel glad, that mod was really way too cheesy and overpowered even for me!

Main problem about DS is it has many bugs. You may not even be able to start the game properly with it. If you are lvl drained, you are screwed, you become a normal sorcerer:and in some other occasions you become a normal sorc again, I fixed it via re-creating my PC in MP save, which was way too annoying...

But in the end, it was the most powerful, versatile and unique spell caster class I played. Loved those unique HLAs. Just look at his site and check the read me, see those SSs, you will see what I mean. :D
