Kontik's Ring of Wizardry in IWD2?

    I'm trying to use DLTCEP to create an item akin to Kontik's Ring of Wizardry (extra memorization slots) in IWD2. Okay, actually I'm trying to create something more like Anomen's special cleric item (what was it called?), but the idea remains the same.

    I've tried using the Priest Spell Slots Modifier (opcode 62) with a whole bunch of different numbers. 0-0, 256-0, 0-256, 512-0, 0-512, 1-1, ... nothing seems to work. Has anyone had any luck with replicating one of the spell slot modifier items from BG into IWD2? If so, can you share the item file (any item will do)? Or tp2 file? Or even just what numbers to enter where in DLTCEP?

    I don't have Near Infinity and I'm very close to giving up on this, so at this point I'd much rather give up than start on a whole new path. Asking on this forum is my last-ditch effort in this direction. Thanks!

    Edit/Update: I've progressed a bit since posting this question. The opcode works, but not as expected. It doesn't double the number of memorization slots available. Instead, it doubles the number of spells memorized. E.g.:
    Let's say I have total 5 slots at Level 2. I memorize 2 Aid, 2 X, and 1 Y.
    I equip the item. Now I have 4 Aid, 4 X and 2 Y memorized.
    Now two really weird things happen:
    • If I unmemorize those spells, the spell slots available don't increase (I can't memorize some other spell instead) until I start going below 5. The total slots available still remains 5.
    • If I de-equip and equip the item, I now have 6 Aid, 6 X, 3Y. The numbers keep increasing (I got up to 26!) seemingly without end.
    So now my question is: has this been implemented incorrectly in IWD2 or is there a different opcode for actually increasing the memorization slots?

    For those wondering, with (Self+While equipped+100% prob) the number combo that worked for this above behavior is: Slot Amount Modifier = 1, Spell Level = 16 (Level 5 spells only -- use corresponding value for other spell levels -- I'm demonstrating 16 here and not 2 to clearly distinguish it from the Modifier value).
