Like most new converts I'm a bit of fanatic. This is my first time to take Korgan all the way through SoA/Tob. Mention Korgan and I'm off and blabing so I decided to start a topic just for him. Please if you post here try not to post out and out spoilers. I know a lot of people think he's the greatest fighter in SoA. So do I.
Won't mention the guy that comes with ToB; that's another topic.
One fight I just sat and watched Korgan wipe out an army by himself. It awed me. He still needs help with the Bosses and some of the monsters.
He messed me up in the Underdark. One of the spiders started following him around. It didn't turn red but all of a sudden he was attacking it. Dhrows are highly overrated. We easily wiped out the city.

I think he is the best fighter in SoA, too. I finished SoA yesterday. Korgan with Crom Faeyr and 5 '*' in War Hammers vs. Irenicus. Poor Irenicus, I almost felt sorry for him. Rage+Greater Whirlwind Attack is something I like very, very much. Only thing I don't like about him is that he is evil, but who cares.

I haven't used him in a while, but from what I remember he was definitely a force to be reckoned with. I've always been a fan of the bearded folk and would have liked to have seen a good or neutral aligned dwarf. Korgan works with all but the most goody two-shoed parties though.

Korgan is your best tactic against the demi-lich Kangaxx. Rage him and the lich's offensive power is absolutely nil. Imprisonment bounced off Korgan like rubber bullets off a tank, and Korgan just hacked that guy to pieces. Awesome.

Korgan! Korgan! Korgan! How can you not love him? He is so good that I always forgets to use his special abilities. The game is set up for him, through most of SoA we have Frostreaver and Stonefire to him, one in each hand, Korgan needs to dual wield asap. Then we get Crom for the off hand and in ToB there are a ton of good dwarf weapons.

He hits so hard my computer rattles! You have to love the insults everyone throws at him, especially Iomen.

I am currently starting a new game and I want different NPC's (like Keldorn) so I'm searching for a mod that allows NPC's to kill anyone but each other without changing dialog. Anyone know of such a mod please respond. I'd like to have a basically good party starring of course, Korgan.

The Ease of use mod stops any party fall outs iirc.

Oh yeh, Korgan does kick booty... lots!

Remember that if you play with a 'good' party and Korgon your rep can't go over 18. In one of my earlier SoA games I had him for a while but lost him when my rep hit 18. With the banter pack installed he's even more fun. He and Edwin want 80% of the loot. Considering that Korgan has 44% of the kills in my current party, he may be right but he's not supposed to know that, right?. He lives to kill and loot.

Korgan, an elemental force of nature. Axes and hammers are all that is needed (thrown hammers and melee ones). A ton of hit points. Berserker rage to stuff many spell effects. Don't leave home without one.

Compare him to someone like Minsc, who has double proficiency in both two handed swords and two weapon fighting, not a good combo.

I'm looking forward to pairing Korgan with Keldorn this time around....

His destructive force can be a bit of a problem :shake:
While finishing his quest Edwin happened to be charmed. In the time it took me to pick up the coffee cup and turn back to the monitor, Edwin was chunked
