[IMG]There are two new Kickstarter updates for Labyrinth. The Kingdoms of Karakuul update talks about the setting of the game and the other update is about defense and bosses in the game.

If there's one thing I've learned by playing games, it's that every dungeon has a boss. Labyrinth is no different. What heroes are to offense, bosses are to defense. You can collect cool bosses, and customize your deck and dungeon in pretty much the same way you do your offensive party. The difference is that your dungeon is always active and earning you rewards even when you're not playing the game!

The fact that you aren't actively controlling your dungeon doesn't mean you don't have control over your dungeon, though. You are able to set up the most difficult dungeon you can imagine by choosing rooms, setting up traps, choosing different structures and, of course, selecting your own special combination of imposing minions and bosses.

That's right... bosses. Plural. Your dungeon can have more than one boss!

Dungeons with multiple bosses provide a lot of strategic depth for players.. If you choose wisely, they complement each other similar to the way heroes do. While any boss might have weaknesses to some teams of heroes, other bosses might be particularly good against that same team. When you build your dungeon, you can shore up some of the weaknesses and set up a defense that has a whole greater than the sum of its parts by creating an interesting and challenging experience for your fellow Labyrinth-dwellers.
