[IMG] Who else has read this? Do you guys have anything positive to say about it? Because this is easily the worst FR novel I've read in a bit. I mean the only 2 interesting parts in the whole book (imo), Whatsisname's Medusa heritage and Whatsername's Imaskari heritage were hardly gone into at all. And I think that the author, Bruce Cordell, has written a number of novels already (in the D&D series iirc) so he has no excuse to put out what, in my eyes, is tripe  grr.. whatta waste. Thank God I had Condemnation right after to wash the horrible writing out of my head (cant even remember their names) :)

I remember a while back a SPer by the name of Shura tried to win that publication contract for the same novel.

Yeah, Shura's one was a really enjoyable piece of writing, I believe the title was Maiden Of Pain.

Oh, so It would've been about Loviatar? I'm sure anything would have been better that this tripe  IIRC the next book in this series is mistress of the night or something like that, its about Talbot Uskevren and by Dave Gross I think..
