Last vampire encounter

    In chapter 2, you get attacked by vampires at night in the streets a few times.

    (Assume you haven't picked an allegiance yet.)
    The last time, the vampires (one I think is Tanova) asks you whose side you are on - and you MUST choose Thieves or Vampires. The former choice brings on combat, and the latter choice prompts the vampires to leave.

    My question is this: does this choice affect the whole outcome of Chapter 2, or just this one encounter?

    My guess is it affects the entire chapter... because I can't find Bodhi in the graveyard after choosing thieves (I wanted to kill the vampires for experience as well as side with Bodhi). Can anyone confirm this?

    Unless you are a thief (class), Bodhi should always be at the Graveyard.

    This's odd, since I can side with the vampire in Chapter 2(ie doesn't help the Shadow Thieves), but I still work for Aran in Chapter 3

    Pal - if you told Tanova you were with the vampires she leaves, it doesn't make you on the vampires side.

    Yes, I had the money, and I have the "Meeting with Valen's Mistress" quest for a long time already. But I didn't take up either offer yet.

    And yes, I am a thief to complicate things. :) I really hope the class doesn't affect this though.

    You can do whatever you like, or as roleplaying dictates, with the vampires in Chapter 2.

    Since you are a thief, you can only join the shadow thieves in chapter 3.

    The "Bodhi doesn't appear" is a bug and it's solved within the SPfixpack. If you wan't to side with Bodhi, install it.

    I do have SPfixpack installed. Bodhi never appeared even at night. I figuered it was because my characters a thief (assasin).

    I think I heard Valen out without agreeing to anything. "Meet Valen's mistress..." is *still* on my to-do list in Chapter 6.
