I'm doing the Watchers Keep now in SoA, and if I leave items there now will they be there when I continue in ToB?

If you leave them in a container, yes. Otherwise, no.

Hmm, really? That's something I was wondering about and suspected, but hadn't tried. Thanks for the info.

I always feel like I want to bring so much from SoA into ToB, but there's only so much you can carry (minus certain mods, that is). Yeah, lots of the stuff isn't that important, but the RP aspect sometimes gets me. If I'm romancing Jaheira, I kinda want to keep that lock of hair, her letter, etc.

(I suppose I can always use MoveToArea commands too. I've often wished that the designers had left in some way of being able to move back to the old regions within the context of the story)

Only problem is that, as I understand it, if you go to the Watcher's Keep in SoA, you don't get NPC interjections & comments about it. Anomen and Keldorn are two that make comments, I'm sure; I'd suppose others do as well, and I hate missing out on that content.

You wouldn't get the NPC interactions if you played Watcher's Keep in SOA because Watcher's Keep was designed for TOB and didn't exist at the time SOA came out.

Actually having said that, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't get the interactions. The TOB files containing the interactions are on your hard drive so it stands to reason that if you ventured there during the SOA part of the game you'd still get the dialogue.

There was some coding error and you don't.

Therefore, just enter Watcher's Keep and dump everything on the first container you see in the first level. Minimum missing out that way.
