I do not know, if anyone tried this, but it works :) . You just need to have a decent party, inifinite missile containers (from Watcher's Keep) help too. So - in Saradush, set your party scripts to agressive, arm party members with bows / crossbows / auto-returning throwing weapons, and put them on the city wall.

They WILL attack the fire giants, even that you do not see them. So - if you are fast enough, you will be able to kill them faster, than they are able to attack you. It worked Ok for me (2x bow, 1x crossbow, sling, kensai with throwing dagger). I have had no problems with the fireball attacks - the giants have probably to be alive and in range for the attack to start.

I have found this quite accidentally, as I got angry when the bastards knocked out my sorceress, and decided to make the score even :D

Anyway - after reading some meeting documentation for the next day, preparing and eating dinner I have discovered that the party still fights with bravado :D So - if you are missing couple thousands of XP for the next level, this is fully LEGAL way how to get them quite fast.

You still have the level cap to contend with, so I wouldn't call it "infinite" experience, but you can raise your level doing this.

The Gesen Bow works well for this trick as well.

Yes, you have the XP cap, and when it is removed, then the borders with missing tables for higher levels. But you can use it to rise to the topmost level available.

BTW - IMHO you can reach quite similar effect when going to fight your Drow sibling (forgot the name). When going through the tunnel with "slaves" (dwarven berserkers, orogh's), they keep re-spawning quite quickly. So if you are able to withstand this, it is another XP harvest. (two good armored fighters with artilerry support can handle this).

Who needs level 50 mod, unless you're soloing? I haven't ever reached exp cap, although I've done almost all quests.

Well, Who needs the cap even when you are soloing.

It's to easy to solo even without it... You need to download patches to make it more difficult

weird i thought everyone knew that trick  So i didnt post it here.

Here's another one: When in waukeens promenade in the circus tent right after Kalah dies and you have to tell that mother and her boy that they are allright. Just surrund the mother with your party and keep talking to her(500 xp each talk). Better way is to surrund the boy and get 2500 xp each talk.
But it is quite tricky to surrund her the way she wouldnt dissapear: I only managed to do it twice with the mother and once with the boy.
The point is that you get a lot of xp in the beggining if you are patient that is ;) :D

About that trick with the fire giants be warned that if you go down the stairs few more guards show up and walk up the stairs to defend the city. And when they are on the wall fire giants start shootin their fireballs on the wall. Nothing deadly but annoying on insane difficulty.

Huh, that's something I would not call 'legal' from the view of the game. There are several situations where you can use it (e.g. the tanner scene in the bridge district - about 20k XP per talk). I think it is mentioned in some of the walkthroughs posted here.
But what interest me are the places, where you can get the missing 100k to level, in case that you do not want to spend another few hours chasing the XP somewhere else, before trying out that high-level ability you are waiting for, and still make it without cheating.

I dont get this, if you have to abuse bugs to get exp, why not just use the console or something? You cant really say this isnt less cheating than adding exp with shadowkeeper.

It is a bit different ... you get the XP with killing the monsters, according to the game rules. So it is LEGAL :D . Of course, we can start discussion about what is "cheesy" and not "cheesy". Then we have to discuss the diferences between the limited possibilities of the game engine / rules, and this situation in "real" world, and blah blah blah ... so on ... ;)
Just yesterday I was frustrated - as my mage was feebleminded, and cleric had not memorized Dispel magic. No possibility to rest there, so I had to reload. In "real" situation would the party members club the mage and drag her somewhere, where the cleric can rest ... :)

Ah yes I see what you mean - I have just reached that point - and what's more you don't have to just wait there while you lap up the EXP - I have 4 characters up there firing arrows and bolts at the Giants while the other 2 (including my main protagonist) go around doing the quests and stuff in Saradush - the only problem is you can only quicksave if you quickly press Q after one Giant has been killed and before another is sighted by one of your guys on the wall...
