I installed the experience cap remover, but my monk stopped getting the AC bonus after lvl 21. Will the Level 40 Rules pack fix this? Also will it give you HLA's (I don't have TOB installed)?
    Thanks.

[IMG] No it won't. It will only give mages extra 6th, 7th and 8th level spell. :wail:

First let me say that I don't know what is inside any of those tweaks.
For HLA's I know for sure you won't get 'em.
    For Monk's AC bonus, I don't know.

    [EDIT]
Well... That serves me well for browsing the net, writing mails and typing replies at the same time...

And btw this is not a tweak. It's included in the bugfixes section in Baldurdash to correct the bug where triple classed mages don't get their extra 6th, 7th and 8th spell slot as HLA's.

Bioware didn't make them available due to the fact that a triple classed mage couldn't get 9th lvl spells with the exp point cap and as you know almost all the HLA's for mages are 9th lvl spells but they forgot to let the extra slots available.

(I hope we are talking for the same think  aren't we?)

BG2:SoA has experience cap at what level for mages? Legally?

It is a tweak. And I doubt it is included in Baldurdash's fixes section for SoA. Kevin Dorner did include some tweaks as fixes, but I don't think he was stupid enough to include XP cap remover as a fix.
It can only be included in tweaks section.

I did never consider the xp cap remover as a fix. I just said what the lvl 40 rules pack was. But I am refering to ToB so I am sorry.

In the SoA bugfixes the above isn't included, ('cause you cannot get HLA's in SoA, but is included in ToB bugfixes)

    Anyway, I am sorry again.

[ToB bugs material removed. Do please repost it in ToB forum, it's good info for mage players with ToB installed - Ex]
